RECENT EXERCISE IN NEWS 2024-25

1. BONGO SAGAR 2025:
   • Bangladesh and India are participating in the 6th edition of the Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) and the 4th edition of the bilateral exercise 'BONGO SAGAR' in 2025.
2. Exercise Khanjar-XII (2025):
   • The 12th edition of the India-Kyrgyzstan Joint Special Forces Exercise 'Khanjar-XII' is scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan.
3. EX Winged Raiders (Eastern Theater):
   • The Indian Army and Indian Air Force conducted this exercise.
4. Exercise 'Ekuverin' (2025):
   • The 13th edition of the joint India-Maldives military exercise 'Ekuverin' is being hosted by Maldives from February 2-15, 2025.
5. Exercise LA PEROUSE (2025):
   • The indigenously designed and built guided missile destroyer INS Mumbai is participating in the 7th edition of this multinational naval exercise.
6. Exercise SLINEX 2024:
   • The 2024 Sri Lanka-India Naval Exercise will be conducted from December 17-20, 2024, at Visakhapatnam under the aegis of the Eastern Naval Command.
7. Exercise "Harimau Shakti" 2024:
   • India and Malaysia commenced this bilateral Joint Military Exercise on December 2, 2024, at Bentong camp, Pahang district, Malaysia.
8. AUSTRAHIND 2024:
   • The third edition of the joint military exercise AUSTRAHIND commenced at the Foreign Training Node at Perth, Australia.
9. Exercise Antariksha Abhyas - 2024:
   • India launched its first Space Defence Exercise.
   • The Defence Space Agency, under the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff, is also conducting this exercise.
10. Coastal Defence Exercise Sea Vigil-24:
    • The Indian Navy will conduct the fourth edition of its nationwide coastal defence exercise on November 20 and 21.
11. Exercise GARUD SHAKTI 24:
    • An Indian Army contingent departed for the 9th India-Indonesia joint exercise GARUD SHAKTI 24 in Jakarta.
12. Exercise VAIRA PRAHAR:
    • An Indian Army contingent departed for the 15th edition of this India-US joint Special Forces exercise.
13. Orchard Combat Training Centre Exercise (2024):
    • This exercise is scheduled to be conducted from November 2-22, 2024, at Orchard Combat Training Centre in Maho, USA.
14. SIMBEX 2024:
    • The 31st edition of the Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX) is scheduled from October 23-29, 2024, in the Eastern Naval Command at Visakhapatnam.
15. KAZIND-2024:
    • The 8th edition of the India-Kazakhstan joint military exercise 'KAZIND-2024' commenced at the mountainous Surya Foreign Training node in Auli, Uttarakhand, on September 30, 2024.
16. Naseem Al Bahr, or Sea Breeze Exercise (2024):
    • The Indian Navy and the Royal Navy of Oman conducted this bilateral maritime exercise.
    • The 13th edition of the Naseem Al Bahr exercise was held off the coast of Oman from November 19-24, 2024.
